She made the last Angel: Aziraphale
And the angels swore to protect him.
Some did a better job then others. It's a shame he can't remember the one that helped him the most.
The Prompt: Crowley protects Aziraphale during the Great War, but he's still badly injured. The Archangels wipe his memory to help him cope with the pain, and send him to Earth where he doesn't remember Crowley. Only vague memories of love and pain - until Armageddon and a body-swap restore him.

Summary
Rain fell hard onto the pavement in front of his eyes and all around him. Aziraphale wondered hazily to himself how he'd let this happen to him. He was a fool to trust that he would be safe after he and Crowley managed to fool Heaven and Hell after their body swap. Though the angels were unsure if Hellfire would work against Aziraphale, they knew that they could use earthly things to bring the angel pain and, for a small group of angry and vengeful angels, that would be enough; to see 'The Traitor' suffer.
Or: Aziraphale gets hurt and then he gets mad.

Summary
After four years as a human child, Aziraphale has mostly grown accustomed to his situation. He’s used to living in the care of adoptive parents, used to homework and dance class. He’s even used to Anthony, the small, human incarnation of Crowley who doesn’t remember a thing about who either of them really are.
But if there is one constant in human life, it’s that things are always changing.
After four years as a human child, Aziraphale stands on the verge of adolescence and all the uncomfortable physical and social changes that it promises. It will mean more secrets between him and his human parents, more struggles with the younger Anthony who feels left behind, and more than Aziraphale’s fair share of embarrassment.
Still, all those struggles will be worth it if he can stay by Anthony’s side and keep him safe. After all, there are far worse things in the world than the simple mortification of growing up.

What did it — feel like? Falling?
There is a silence, then, that seems to stretch out and out until it fills a small eternity, and Aziraphale thinks he may have overstepped, almost takes it back, but —
Dying, Crowley says, finally, and his eyes, unconcealed by dark lenses, do not leave his glass. It feels like dying.
Aziraphale presses no further. It sounds fitting, after all; he rather thinks Falling is its own brand of death. Hopes, desperately, that he will never know what it is to lose himself, lose everything.
It’s funny, then, that when he Falls, it is because he has found both.
And it feels like flying.
Like coming alive.
