“They tried to make them fight the Younglings. Some kind of Jedi vs Mandalorian thing. I want to bring them home.”
“To Keldabe? You have lost your mind.”
“The Republic would use them for leverage. It could escalate to war– things have been way too tense for way too long.” Obi-Wan argued.
“Going to Mandalorian Space is suicide.”
“I would rather risk my life than see children used as political pawns or worse, as leverage in war.”
“They are the enemy, Obes. If they get their hands on you they would not be so gracious.”
“There are no enemy children in war. Just children.”
Quinlan knew there was no convincing Obi-Wan at this point. “Fine. But don’t come crying to me when things go wrong.”
They both knew Quinlan would be the first to aid Obi-Wan should things go wrong.

Cal startles, looks up from the terrarium where his newly planted Bogano seeds take root. “Sorry,” he says, a distinct red tinge flushing across his cheeks. What a weird species Humans are, showing their feelings through their skin tone. “I’m not used to having nothing to do.”
Greez finds Cal something to do, and learns a thing or two about Jedi in the process.

Summary
In terms of bad days, this is probably one of Cal's worst.
First, there's the flashback to the worst moment of his life. Then he breaks his master's lightsaber. Then he finally makes it back to reality only to be chased down by a horde of undead witches who will stop at nothing to tear him to shreds.
Cal has about had enough.
or, Cal finally gets the hug he deserves after the whole being-forced-to-relive-order-66 debacle. Takes place right after Cal's Order 66 flashback.

Maybe he’s been lucky, but they’ve never haunted the Mantis before. He’s heard the tales, the hyperspace collisions, wrecks never to be found. He freezes. What can he do? If he tries to haul the ship out of hyperspace, they’ll wind up in who knows where, just as wrecked as if a purrgil tried to ram them. All he can do is sit tight, and hope they’ll pass on by.
“What are they?” asks a hoarse voice from the shadowed cabin, and Greez nearly falls out of his chair.
