What a beautiful weave of contrasting elements. Xichen's sincere attempt to help Wangji understand without fear or shame, tempered by his own fears and shame... it's heartbreaking to see. There's so much subtext and careful language that feels so natural for our two Lans, on this topic especially. And what an electrically potent pair of ending lines.

This is so cute. It's my absolute favorite thing when a character is in denial but we can read right there in the narration what's really going on and it's done so beautifully here.
The build in closeness and intimacy is perfect. This fic nails the repressed lesbianism to sudden realization process with 100% accuracy.

This one was a gift for me, so I'm a little biased.
This is a really nice spin on Yanli/Wen Qing using lavender marriage in honestly a very unique way (at least I haven't seen it in this configuration before). We get to see both Wen Qing and Yanli's desperation and how they take action in different ways. The absolute relief of the reunion here is so heartwarming. Ace rep is very nice and much appreciated. There are so many great little moments, I love the framing with the laundry in particular.
