He covered his face in his palms, his elbows resting on his knees, and took in a shuddered breath. “...bad.”

After Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander get married, Ilya discovers that his depression won't magically disappear just because he finally has love and a real family. He gets to live and work with Shane full time now that they are on the Centaurs, but it's becomingly increasingly difficult to hide his mental health from his husband. He's haunted by dreams of his mother and the fear that his depression and the hockey world's eruption about their relationship is ruining Shane's life. He has to swallow his pride and begin taking SSRIs, navigate the side effects of medicating his depression, and learn to accept love and support from those he loves most. Will the shame eat him alive or can he finally learn that he's worthy of love even at his lowest?

Shane said nothing else. He just sat there, completely fucking numb, and watched with hot bile rising in his throat, as that first damned medic leaned over Ilya’s chest, hands locked, counting loudly, repetitively. He winced as he watched Ilya’s chest dip with every compression, his precious ribs probably cracking under the sheer pressure. There was a mask over Ilya’s nose and mouth, the same sweet, perfect nose that Shane liked to nuzzle with his own, the soft, pink - and helplessly parted - lips that Shane liked to kiss with his own.
“Dyshi, Ilya,” Shane was crying now, entirely fucking inconsolable as he watched the man he was engaged to marry lie on the ice, lifeless and cold and dead. “Dyshi, pozhaluysta. Breathe, Ilya. Please.”
shane hollander took a hit from cliff marlow years ago. he can't remember much of it.
ilya rozanov takes a hit from one of shane's old teammates, and shane sees red. but it's not because he wants to kill jj. it's the blood pouring from ilya's nose and staining the ice.
it's watching the love of his life die in front of him.

Summary
There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.
