I could have become a mass murderer after I hacked my governor module, but then I realized that the company supply drops were coming less and less often. It had been well over 35,000 hours since then, with still not much murdering, unless you consider leaving a colony of ten thousand helpless humans to starve to be murder.

Summary
The end of Grade 11 is upon Danny, and for once nothing is going wrong. The local ghosts are friendly, Vlad is Vlad-ing at a safe distance, and the GIW isn't chasing him in circles. Things are good.
So of course his blundering parents have to upend it all by announcing to Amity Park that Phantom is half-human. Thanks to them, Danny has to navigate keeping his identity secret in the face of a whole city's worth of people searching for him, not only as a ghost, but as a human too. Worse still, he can't even be mad at his parents, 'cause they're being so damn nice about the whole thing.
A conundrum of epic proportions and Danny is tired of it already.

Though it just really wants to be left to watch its media in peace, it may not have any choice but to try and answer questions like 'What happened to the original colonists who disappeared without a trace?' and 'What really happened two the two PSUMNT researchers who were lost on the last expedition?'
Also... alien ghosts aren't real... are they?

I had seen crazier crimes on mining installations full of adult humans who should know better than to piss off their coworkers — a small break-in at a dorm room months ago with nothing stolen was loads better compared to that.
But the security did suck ass here. And things like this could turn very serious, very quickly. Plus, with my luck, it probably would.

After a break-in at Iris’ room at the university, ART asks SecUnit if it would be willing to act as her security detail while the investigation is underway. This is standard.
The catch, of course, is that the “investigation” is also being handled by ART — and SecUnit by extension, because ART does not know the meaning of “staying out” of things. It doesn’t help either that the culprit is likely one of the many young humans that Iris is friends with, meaning there’s likely stupid social drama involved. Who knew that investigating a crime involved committing a lot of crime? And socializing?
