One of the very few fanfics I've (knowingly) read more than once. I loved the premise so much that it inspired a fic of my own: This is the Ghost Story.
There are very few people who, when rendered amnesiac, would just roll with it. Bucky Barnes is definitely one of those people, and of course Jack Benjamin is too. Awesome.

Summary
There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

This is one of those stories where I enjoyed how the author put the story together as much as the story itself. I can't describe it better than feeling like you're not just reading a story, but that the author has invited you to play with them in their head. This story is tense, tragic, hilarious, fascinating and satisfying. 'Delightful' seems like a ridiculous way to describe fanfiction, but it was. It was delightful. I haven't grinned all the way through a 20k word fic in a very long time.

Straight up: I love how Loki has been written and played in the MCU films, but I don't particularly care for the character, and when I read this it was for the unusual Loki & Bucky friendship.
That aspect didn't disappoint in the least, but this whole fic was just gorgeous, amazing, wonderful... The kind of reading experience where you feel like an idiot just listing superlatives. Loki is very, very much himself but also a completely sympathetic, lonely and neglected little boy. His POV is just fantastic (gorgeous, amazing, wonderful, etc.) and his all-too-brief relationship with Bucky is perfectly logical for the universe and gives Bucky a new (to me) but excellently plausible backstory as well. My only complaint is that the author isn't sure she'll write more of this story. I can only hope she changes her mind, because I so badly want to read about the continuation of Loki and Bucky's friendship.

This was so sad, and so much fun, and so funny and hopeful. The author has one hell of a way with language and a light humor that lifts all but the darkest parts of this story, which you wouldn't want lightened anyway. I loved it. It was amazing.

I was a little sorry that there wasn't more of the puppy, but the author made up for it with Damaged!Bucky's incredibly warped POV, and Steve's slow discovery that he really wasn't alone in this brave and terrible new world.
I just wish someone had asked Dr. Strange why he'd turned Bucky into a dog--was it just the first spell he thought of to protect himself? Did he know Puppy!Bucky would find Steve (or vice-versa)? I know if I found out a sorcerer turned my boyfriend into a dog, I'd definitely want to find out why at some point. I also couldn't understand why Strange didn't help out with dismantling Project Insight (or at least, he wasn't mentioned).
But, awesome POVs. Just awesome. :)

I'm going to be honest: There are typos; there are anachronisms and grammar problems and the story could have used some American-picking. But it was so good that none of that mattered.
I can't adequately describe how much I love this story. It was fun, it was fascinating and exciting and suspenseful, and going on two months later it still makes me smile when I think about it. It's simple and sweet and brilliant and romantic as hell. Just a wonderful story.
