Summary
So I've read a lot of fics where Lucifer had Hanahaki, and I wanted to make some Alastor Angst, and here I am writing a fic about this!
Initially my idea was to make a one-shot, but here I am posting this fic in chapters to leave more suspense and free imagination to the readers!
(if there are grammar errors in the writing don't worry and tell me, it will probably have been a moment of distraction since most of this fic I wrote in class and during the night, or simply the very famous autocorrector that doesn't do its job)

Summary
The tip of the mountain was just broad enough for a dozen men to stand abreast, and it balanced precariously on a much thinner base, like plates spinning on a mummer’s stick. Tiresias sat by the ledge, his legs dangling over the abyss. When Hermes sat beside him, he met his gaze easily, unseeing but finding him regardless, recognising him through the star-filled sockets of his eyes, a space reserved just for Hermes in the unending void of him. Hermes liked to consider himself one of these stars, somewhere Tiresias could always see him. He did always seem to expect him when he came.
“Hermes,” he said, with all the recognition of birds returning home after winter. Hermes loved hearing his name like that, said in that lovely, droning voice, even and steady as the man Tiresias had been in life. He loved arriving somewhere and being welcomed just for the sake of his presence, needing to do nothing other than being there.
“Hello, darling."

Hermes has been hiding in the Underworld for solace, stretching his time there by a mile to be with Tiresias. Apollo notices the gradual extensiveness of his abrupt disappearances and catches onto the fact that something may be happening behind the scenes. As such, he follows his brother to the realm of the dead in hopes of getting to the bottom of things.

When Poseidon realizes that Hermes is the reason for Odysseus' success after leaving Ogygia, he takes matter into his own hands. Apollo, meanwhile, is desperately tired of his siblings angering their elders.
At least Athena is made for war. When Hermes is unable to withstand Poseidon's wrath, he'll need a little divine intervention or two of his own.
