“Dominating on third court,” Ines says. “Those poor Americans never had a chance.”
“Thought they were Canadian.”
“No, no. Accent’s all wrong. American.” Ines nods at her own conclusion before sliding her sunglasses onto the top of her head to get a good look at Mateus’ companion, a short-ish man she’s never seen before. His hair is a shock of orange, and his fair skin is going to give him hell on the beach, especially if he keeps wearing t-shirts and shorts like he is now.

Summary
The guy is odd. He’s been coming here for two weeks straight, almost every single day, to play the escape room. And he’s not beaten it once.
Surely, it must be boring. Of course the puzzles change every few days, his brother apparently having developed an endless supply of brain teasers when Thanatos wasn’t looking, which does make for a few return visits. But no one comes in this frequently, especially when they’re so bad at the games.

Crowley and Aziraphale are very possibly the people least qualified, on the entire planet, to start up an advice podcast.
But what else is there to do when the world isn’t ending anytime soon, you’re technically on indefinite sabbatical from your lifelong careers, and you need a plausible excuse to spend more time with your best friend who you’re definitely not, absolutely not, maybe just a little, actually maybe overwhelmingly in love with?
