Shit made me cry a river, it's so fucking similar to my experience with Self harm. Residential home to residential home, the comfort of just keeping the item near you "just in case", the knowledge that you know people care about you and want better for you, but the absolute urge that overpowers everything. To just sabotage your recovery, because do you really fucking deserve it?
Hospital to hospital. Nerve damage clawing up, losing the ability and sensations in certain parts of skin. I felt this fic in my SOUL.
