When the Headmaster is forced to early retirement due to a family emergency, the position is open to the rest of the faculty. The Minister, Chief Warlock, and the Director for Wizarding Education will be ranking the staff, and the number one professor will be named Headmaster.

Summary
Hermione Granger couldn't be more ready to leave Hogwarts behind after 8th year. But a chance encounter with Draco Malfoy on their final night at the castle sets their lives on an entirely different path. While they leave Hogwarts to go their separate ways, their lives remained intertwined. Spanning 20 years of their relationship, each chapter finds them in a different year on the Summer Solstice and explores their evolution from enemies to the most important person in each other's lives.
This work was inspired by the 2024 Netflix show One Day. Please note that One Day contains heavy themes. My interpretation of the story will include heavy angst and even some heartbreak along the way, but I'm asking you to trust the process and read along with me. I won't let you down, I promise.
