Syzoth was doing great, or so he thought, while never being able to take a certain earthrealmer out of his head. But he has no time to think about those things now, his duty is to change his people culture, he has to open their minds to save shapeshifters zaterrans like him from the exile and pain he went through; all while some mysterious things start to torment Outworld. Sure the zaterran doesn't have time for anything else, right?
At Earthrealm Tomas Vrbada isn't going trough his best era; yes he's living a peaceful live in the new clan but his mind keeps messing with him all the time. The constant threat of his brother Bi-Han, constant nightmares about a ritual, and the ridiculous amount of random people appearing out of thin air, presumably from other time lines, has the Czech ninja at his limit. He wishes he could meet his reptilian friend more often, his mere presence enough to make him feel more at ease. He never had a friend who he cherished as much as Syzoth, guest that's what a true friend does to someone.

Summary
Two years after the battle of the timelines, Syzoth has reached a crossroads: Continue serving the Empress or finally embrace his identity as a Zaterran and lead his people. Tomas must work tirelessly as a hired assassin, employing his skills to bring in enough money for the clan to rebuild. After receiving a mysterious summons, Tomas realizes this could be the break his clan needs and his chance to prove himself as well.

Based on the Liu Kang dialogue from the 2021 film.
Before Cole Young, Sonya Blade, Kano, and Jax arrived, it was just Liu Kang and Kung Lao. Kung Lao has been destined to be Earthrealm's Champion since he could remember, having inherited his dragon marking through the bloodline of the Great Kung Lao. Liu Kang, his most treasured companion, has trained with him for the Mortal Kombat tournament since they were boys. Though just as skilled, Liu Kang can never truly join his shixiong without his own dragon marking. Without the privilege of a grand lineage, Liu Kang's only option is to take the marking from another, through blood spilt. Upon graduating from the Wu Shi, Liu Kang is given a name -- a potential path forward as a Champion of Earthrealm, and a route back to Kung Lao's side.

Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

Mirage texts them a photo of the address. It’s smack in the middle of nowhere, tucked into the mountains next to the ocean. V1 whirrs out a sigh and texts back. “Fine. Fine. I’ll check it out soon. Give me until after class.”
Mirage replies with a horribly compressed image of her with a thumbs up emoji. “Tyyy. I think you’ll like it >:)”
“That’s so reassuring!” V1 texts back. They turn their phone over before she can reply. It’s about an hour drive. Hopefully they still have signal by the time they get there in case some mountain demon comes for them.
