Summary
Friends make friends stuff all the time, and Jayce did break Viktor's cane. It'd be a nice thing to do. A cane, plus some cool tools, and Jayce will be able to know he's a good friend. He likes this plan.

Summary
Jayce looks back at his own body and takes it all in. His knee feels sore, but not unpleasant, and when he reaches up, he feels tiny imprints of Viktor’s fingertips. He’s sure they’re colorful as well. Frowning, Viktor reaches up and traces the scars, his bottom lip quivering, about to cry, but Jayce just shakes his head; if a few scars are what he exchanges for Viktor’s life, then he’ll take as many cuts and bruises as the universe can give them.
“You’re alright,” Jayce murmurs. Leaning forward, he touches their foreheads together, only smiling when Viktor presses in as well, returning the gesture. There is a low, warm and comforting hum between them as they touch. Either a reminder of what they’ve done or a reward for how they fixed it, Jayce doesn’t care. A hand, Viktor’s hand, comes up to caress his hair on the back of his neck, the other wrapping itself around his forearm. “We’re gonna be okay,” he promises.
He means it.

After what feels like an eternity, Jayce finally opens his eyes. He focuses slowly, very slowly, on… a face. It wears a small, knowing smile. The curves and lines and planes are all familiar to him now. It’s him. It always has been.
“Welcome back, my friend.” Viktor mutters.

He felt his veins ignite with a fury so potent that he was unsure if his body was physically capable of containing it.
What a tedious day.

Sword and Shield. Ignis always knew he may one day be forced to kill in defense of the Crown, but he hadn't expected that day to come on what should have been a quiet Tuesday afternoon, nor did he expect to react so poorly to it.

While relieved to see Legolas's happiness in the Undying Lands, and feeling surprisingly welcomed by the elves, Gimli does occasionally feel lonely as the only dwarf in Valinor. Thankfully, Thranduil will not see his son suffer for Gimli's unhappiness, and more importantly has knowledge of a solution. Gimli meets Tauriel, Tauriel has an impossible visitor, and Gimli might yet get to hear familiar voices booming under stone without having to leave his beloved.
