Donnie blinked at his counterpart.
He looked rather plain to be a Donatello. Then again it was another universe, anything was possible. Donnie couldn't fault the turtle for his lack of..Well everything.
Or; Donnie and Leo go to the 2012, and the 2012 have to deal with two superpowered, probably insane versions of Leo and Donnie.
Filled with plenty of murder, laughs, more murder, disturbing imagery and Donnie/Leo awesomeness and alternate turtle gawking. Enjoy.

Summary
Splinter ripped his gaze away from the stomach turning scene and kneeled down on shaky legs so he could hold his child- probably for the last time. There was no point in taking Leo home to the med bay…even if the slider somehow survived the journey, the damage that had been punched into him was unsalvageable.
Leonardo Hamato was nearing the end of his life.
Splinter choked on a sob at the realisation, at the realisation he would outlive his own child, at the realisation Leo never got to truly live at all.
Or: Leo's last moments spent with Splinter after being rescued from the prison dimension + a turtle tot flashback

Heya! in this series I'll add all my big brother Leonardo fics!
They'll be mainly based off 2012 as that's the show I've grew up with/watched the most.Headcannons that will be common throughout these fics:
-Leonardo can sing- very well
- Splinter raised the quadruplets speaking Japanese as their first language
-Leo has 101 nicknames for his lil brothers- most are in Japanese and will probably include some variation of baby/little within the name

“Get up” It repeated “they need you.”
A laughable notion, that his boys would ever rely on his guidance, his strength. Like they didn’t know that he had nothing left to give them.
“It doesn’t matter if the burden is heavy, it matters that you carry it!” The words sounded alien from the high, childish voice that rose to a shriek. Ever the dramatic, it repeated “Get up!”
Yoshi got up.
