Oww, Peter thought blandly as he shifted- no, scratch that, tried to shift- onto his back but quickly decided that wasn’t in his best interest. Voices, both his own and not, swam in his head like a wave beating against his forehead.
“They’re coming here because of me, right? Because I’m Peter Parker? So cast a new spell, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget me.”
“It wouldn’t be enough. Your very presence would destabilize this universe.”
Peter finally managed to roll himself over onto his back, ignoring the sharp pain that shot through his spine at the movement enough to sit up and look around. He was in an alley which thankfully held no occupants save himself and the trash littering the ground.
“But I can… I can send you away. To a place where there is no Peter Parker. No Spiderman.”

If you asked young lord Hans Capon of Pirkstein, however, he’d tell you it’s an idiotic, pestilential sentiment coined by some daft cunt who never had to suffer the terror and indignity of being parted from their heart’s desire. Or they’ve just never met Henry.
Each time Hans cannot see him, the walls of the world start closing in, threatening to crush him. Each time Henry is away, the young lord has to face the terrifying reality of longing, craving, dreaming, yearning—and the frustration of not knowing whether the blacksmith’s boy is even alive. Worse! The frustration of not knowing whether the bastard misses him as bad as Hans does.
And then, each time Henry returns to him, two crucial things dawn upon Capon’s head: one, he needs to remember there are books that speak of love he dares not voice himself. Two: he might not agree with absence making the heart fonder, but it sure does make his cock ache.

Along the way he picked up a young John Marston, who thus never runs with Dutch. Despite leaving, Arthur never truly left his connections behind him, and when Dutch asked for help, he always answered. In 1899, during the event of the game, this arrangement might eventually force Arthur to choose to whom he truly owes his loyalty.
John sneered. "You think I'd protect Dutch Van der Linde? Believe me, if I knew where he was, I'd tell you. Hell, I'd go get him myself. He's worth 10 large right now."
Milton sneered right back. "I am not a fool, Mister Marston, kindly do not treat me as one. You would do nothing without Arthur Morgan's say-so, and that will be what puts you on the gallows right beside him."
