Summary
Everyone knows that the gods have numerous children. Besides being responsible for controlling aspects of the world, that's what they're known for. Demigods are a dime a dozen, and while the gods do care for their children, we all know that they are willing to send them to their deaths for 'the greater good,' or sometimes just for a chance at glory.
But what if demigods... didn't exist?
What if there was a Pantheon that couldn't have children with mortals, only producing stillborns and monsters?
Faced with the threat of It's world's timeline being destroyed due to this cosmic error, Fate itself seeks to intervene. It tears through reality and snatches away a select few demigods to gift to It's Pantheon, erasing and manipulating the memories of It's most vulnerable chosen, as well as rewinding the years on all that It takes, to help with the bonding process.
This choice leaves 9 demigods trapped in an Ancient Greece that not even they can recognize. Stranded, disoriented, and stripped of their claims, they must tread carefully, for the roaming monsters are not the only threat.

Peter Quill is taken from his home at the age of around 10. You might think you know how the rest of the story goes, Peter lives a fearful and rough life with the Ravagers, kinda bonds with Kraglin and kinda considers Yondu his dad, strikes out on his own and saves the galaxy by making friends through commiting crimes. Stuff happens, Peter meets his biological father, has a Bad Time, and everything ends in a bittersweet kinda way, right?
Nah chief, we ain't doing that. Here's my story. Buckle the fuckle up and throw cannon to the wayward as we dive feels first into a different story, one that follows a much younger and not very Terran Peter Quill as he survives in space and goes from having no dad, no family and no friends, to two dads, a huge mismatched Ravager family, and some very good friends. Now, if only he could figure out what exactly he was, hopefully without running into a certain living planet.

Peter loves his new friends and living a life where he's not part of a criminal gang. However, sometimes, he misses Yondu and the place he called home for so long. One night, Peter's drunk and ends up drunk dialing Yondu and telling him how homesick he is. The next morning, the Guardians are greeted by the sight of the Ravager ship outside their door and a whistling Space Pirate demanding to take his boy home, as clearly the Guardians aren't taking care of him. A hungover Peter is absolutely no help to either side.

The teenager blinked in surprise at Kalego’s words. Grounded? He looked around at all the other teachers, expecting them all to be staring at him like he was a buffet waiting to be eaten. Instead, they all stared back at him with pity and horror written all over his face. He slowly turned his attention back to Kalego, who was patiently waiting for an answer.
“Excuse me,” Iruma whispered, his heart still hammering in his chest, “W-what…What is grounding?” He asked.

Carefully sliding the cracker box from Jack's grip, Dean scooped the kid up. Sitting the toddler’s bottom on his forearm and bracing the little guy with a hand on his back. Sandy hair tickles under his chin as Jack tucks his head into Dean’s neck. Dean holds Jack for a bit, gently shushing him while rocking back and forth.
That's how it started.
