Frost’s glory days are long gone.
He had it all when he took on the false guise of a hero. Fame, status, friends… and Cabba. But, once his true colors were revealed, he lost it all… and, as insult to injury, the God of Destruction takes his eye.
However, all hope is not lost, as Hit is able to find him and give him a chance to start over. He believes everything to be perfect once again… yet the past doesn’t simply go away. Trust is not simply earned back in Cabba’s eyes and Frost is followed by the reminder that his villainous father is still alive and subtly pulling at the strings. He wonders… can one truly ‘start over’, or will the past always remain?

"We were so worried, we heard you—" Ragatha starts, and then looks up. She meets Jax's gaze dead-on, and goes silent. Tears brim in the corner of her eye. Her hand flies up to cover her mouth. He can't tell if the look on her face is relief or fear.
Gangle's staring at him like she's seen a ghost. Pomni slowly raises to her feet, brows furrowed. She winces as every movement jars her wavering form.
Cowered on the floor, panting, confused and disoriented, with everyone standing above him, taller than him… it reminds Jax of something deeply unpleasant. They're all staring at him. They're all seeing him.
Jax knows they're not going to like what they see.
His breath quickens until his head is spinning, and he feels like he's going to vomit. He forces himself upwards with a frustrated cry, swaying in place, and then turns and bolts towards his room as fast as he can.
"NO!" Pomni screams.

"So, Rumi," Zoey's mother begins, so sweet and benign and unaware of the massive headache she was about to gracefully bestow upon Rumi. "Are you seeing anyone?"
It's an innocent question. Just one of those things that parents ask their daughter's friends. She asks it while Rumi helps herself to a delectable serving of galbi jjim, piling cuts of the meat onto her plate, and Rumi almost fumbles her chopsticks and drops a piece.
It's just a yes or no question.
Rumi, however, stops and very eloquently says: "Um."
OR: When Zoey's cousin invites all three of them to California for his wedding, Zoey is forced to navigate her and Rumi's newly-found feelings for each other while staying at her parents' house for four days. Zoey's trying not to explode, Rumi is an awkward, blushing mess, and Mira thinks it's the funniest shit ever. Will they manage to survive Costco, nosy family members in a backyard barbecue, a bachelor party, and the wedding day itself?
