Prince Cecil of Night Vale sets off on a journey into a Desert Otherworld to find his missing lover, who disappeared into thin air a year ago. He instead finds himself with his enthusiastically bloodstained counterpart from a rival kingdom, a Prophecy foretelling their doom at each other's hands, fragmented glimpses of the past and future, and increasingly concerning clues about what, exactly happened to Carlos the Alchemist.

A twelve-way roleswap AU for The Two Princes!
The Midlands was just as involved in the war as East and West were. The Western Kingdom fell instead, and many Westerners fled to other kingdoms. A Forest grew over the Western Wastes. Queen Lavinia vanished and was presumed dead, as were her consort and infant son. Queen Atossa went off to lands unknown to search for a way to stop the Forest, and has not been seen since.

“We all get our bell rung eventually, right?”
When Ilya Rozanov wakes up in the hospital, he doesn’t know how he got there. He doesn’t know it’s 2019, his second season as captain of the Ottawa Centaurs. He doesn’t know he got hurt defending Shane Hollander on the ice.
All he knows is that he must have hit his head really, really, hard, because when he wakes up, there are three Hollanders looking at him with love in their eyes and concern on their faces.
This is especially confusing since the last time Ilya Rozanov remembers seeing Shane Hollander was at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
