Alastor strategically presses his hand to Vox’s chest, fingers splaying above that madly beating heart, and he leans in—with an expression that hopefully comes across as seductive rather than desperate.
“I want you,” he purrs, “to kiss me.”
“I—Um. What brought this on?”
“Does it matter?”
“It matters to me.”
Oh, out of all the times for him to be considerate! Alastor wasn’t expecting such hesitation; frankly, he thought Vox would jump at the slightest indication of permission. Why does he have to rein in his greedy, grabby little hands now?
“This isn’t one of those times when I’m indulging you,” Alastor says after a pause. “You are to indulge me—without questioning what I get out of it. This is not a lead up to anything sexual, and you are not to get off. I just want you to kiss me until my lips are bruised and my jaw is sore and my tongue is numb. Can you manage that?”
Alastor is coming apart at the seams after returning from a summons from Lilith. He decides to try purging the taste of her from his mouth with that of Vox’s.

Inspired by the comic by @BigTerrence on TikTok: "What If Alastor Woke Up In A World Where He and Vox Were Lovers?". I won't be using the comic shot for shot, this is inspired by it but not trying to recreate it in fic form.

Alastor was in the middle of executing his master plan when everything changed. He had only shut his eyes for a moment -- trying to rest and recover... but when he opened his eyes, instead of being tied to his favorite spinning chair he found himself in a warm, plush bed with shark themed sheets. At first, he figured Vox had taken pity and laid him there, but as his eyes wandered around the room things were starting to make less and less sense. When had Vox had the time to take several pictures of them together? Happy pictures? And, more importantly, when had Vox put a ring on his finger?Ah, well, the photo of them at an alter on the nightstand answers that question.

What happens when Canon!Alastor has swapped bodies with Married!Alastor? How will their Voxs react? What will they learn about themselves, and what else could they possibly fuck up?

And Alastor, grinning like a smug fucking cat meme in one of Valentino’s salon chairs, legs crossed as primly as any princess’s. Apparently whatever camaraderie he and Vox’s so-called goons have been developing, it doesn’t extend far enough to stop them from ditching his ass to Vox’s temper.

He hates the job, he hates the guests, and he really hates that deer-looking sinner who won’t stop smirking at him. Most of the others have already lost their patience with him, but Charlie still insists on believing there’s some good left in him.
Of course, just when things couldn’t get worse, new problems start showing up at the hotel... and it doesn’t matter how much Vox complains, he’s getting dragged into it anyway.

Just for this, he says. As though it’s trivial. As though it isn’t everything that Vox has dreamt of every night for the past several decades. As though the rejection doesn’t sting just as sharply every time he wakes up and reaches to the other side of a cold bed, hands searching for a lover that will never be there, and hears callous laughter echoing in the back of his skull.
Vox sucks in a shaky breath, closing his eyes. He tilts his face downward, unable to look at Alastor when he admits it. He almost can’t bring himself to, sure that Alastor is already certain of the answer.
”Yes,” he whispers.
”You can’t be serious,” Alastor says quietly.

Trying to be a gentleman (Alastor likes those, right?) Vox keeps his hands to himself around his lover, even if it feels like he’s literally going to die from the aching want burning inside of him. Alastor just wants Vox to fuck him already, because this is starting to get rather frustrating.

Alastor sighed dramatically. "Listen. I know how unreasonably proud you are of... switching out your sausages. But I've had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing the inside of his work briefcase"—he jerked a thumb over his shoulder toward the fluffy pink dancer on the nightclub's main stage—"and so I can assure you, there is nothing you could have wired to your groin that is either novel to me or appealing to me. Enjoy your evening." Alastor spun on one foot and trotted off.
"It's a microphone."
Alastor stopped five steps away. "What kind."

“Would you look at this masterpiece! The granddaddy of the greatest microphones in the world. That elegant, dramatic design—"
"Ohhh god," Vox groaned, spreading his knees wider. "I seriously underestimated how hot this was going to be."
Alastor raised his head from between Vox's thighs to glower.
"Well?" Vox smirked. "Go on. Call me ‘granddaddy’ again.”
"You're making it very hard to get into this."
"Do you know what you're making ‘very hard’—"
