“Honestly, at this point, just bang it out,” Angel drawls from his fixed spot at the bar, rudely interrupting the semi-serious altercation Alastor’s been painstakingly escalating over the past hour and very efficiently cutting it short. Husker snorts inelegantly, then quickly raises the cloth he’s been cleaning the bar with to cover his mouth, ears immediately folding back against his skull when Alastor’s head snaps around with an unnatural, grating crack of his neck.
“Excuse me, I must have misheard,” he says lightly, moving to turn the rest of his body as well, deliberately grinning in a way that exposes all of his teeth. “What did you say?”
“Bang it out,” Angel repeats, enunciating every word and underlining them with a crude and very unambiguous gesture of his hand, and Alastor viscerally wishes he were in possession of that insolent soul, just so he could rip him apart. “The sexual tension’s so thick, even I find it disgusting. Me! So, do us all a favour and just get it over with.”
or: Alastor gets forced to face the fact that he isn’t as immune to sexual urges as he previously believed (and all the embarrassing fumbling that follows).
