Luo Binghe opens his mouth, but says nothing. The baby cries louder, and his disciple's gentle, tired eyes lower to look at him, desperate. He seems completely lost, not knowing what to do with the wailing baby in his arms.
“... It is what it seems,” Luo Binghe says, almost pouting.Or, Luo Binghe bleeds on a plant and gets a baby. That could go very wrong, except Shen Qingqiu decides to mitigate the feral factor of the demonic plant turned baby with his own blood and qi.

Bookmarker's Notes
Bing-ge becomes Binghe at the beginning of SVSSS. Shen Jiu eventually fall in behind him and puts him to Shen Yuan sending him on a quest to court Shen Yuan. Shen Yuan expressed a level of "this (Binghe's prior actions) is fine (morally)" that he can't usually achieve without disassociation and intense depersonification. The stories about our two blackened problematic favs perspectives so that's par for the course. More au is that he lets Binghe bottom and normal about sex during it.

“Binghe’s shizun could never find him unworthy,” and for half a moment Luo Binghe turned towards him with an awestruck look, before it twisted into thorny, hostile briars.
Shen Qingqiu wakes up in his Sun-Moon Dew Mushroom body and stumbles on some seriously OP loot! Ordinarily he might be tempted to leave it, but weaponless as he is, it doesn’t make sense not to take it!!
… Maybe he shouldn’t have let the insanely rare find blind him to the risk of carrying around what amounts to an instant truth curse.

Liu Mingyan has the knife out of her hand in two blinks of the eye—one to immobilize her wrist, one to strip the weapon. Sha Hualing narrows her eyes, but the scowl on her face doesn't seem to entirely be one of displeasure.
