Dean has a knee-jerk reaction to seeing an angel almost get put down at a hunter's market, and thirty minutes later, he's in the Impala with Sam and a supernatural creature that wants to tear their jugulars out with his teeth. Sam seriously doubts they can handle the task his brother has taken on, but he's doing his best to be supportive.
Castiel wants blood. He wants to rip every human that crosses his path into pieces, and he wants these two humans in particular to stop lying and trying to trick him with false niceties and so-called kindness. He's not going to fall for it; he's not stupid or weak. What he will do, however, is find a way to escape captivity. And, of course, brutally kill them before he leaves their underground bunker behind.

Summary
Dean Winchester didn't ask for this. Sure, he tries to use his alpha privilege (and hefty bank account balance) to do some good in the world. He works with Bobby, Ellen, and Jody at The Roadhouse, a centre for rescued omegas, but even there, he stays behind the scenes. He pays the bills and helps maintain the property, but other than that, he tries to keep his fingers out of any pies that aren't intended for his cakehole.
That is, until one day when Charlie informs him of one of the worst abuse cases they've ever seen, and tells him that they need to act now if they want to save the guy's life.
Dean's got no problem approving the intake, but then Charlie drops the other shoe like it's hot: The Roadhouse is at capacity and there's simply nowhere for the poor omega to go, but word on the street is that Dean's got a empty guest room, and wasn't he just saying that the house was too quiet since Sam moved out, anyway?
This is a story of hurt and healing, secret identities, righting old wrongs, and finding light on even the darkest of days.

“Steve, that’s not what this is.” Nat said, now that he was standing she could see that the past seven months had not been kind to him. He had lost weight, his t-shirt hung off his frame and his long hair and beard weren’t like the clean cut soldier she knew.
“Don’t lie to me Nat. That’s exactly what this is.” Steve snapped back. “I hope you can build the team back up.” He said turning around.
“Steve you are still a part of the team.” She said causing Steve to turn with a laugh.
“If that were true Nat then you would have found me five months ago.” He said, Nat had no answer for him.
