Summary
“They said I lied,” Hongjoong said, remembering the looks on the guards faces, the way one of them had punched him in the gut and threatened to make him regret lying.
“Did you?” omega asked. There was no curiosity in the voice, like he was asking the question just to entertain Hongjoong or be polite, not because he actually cared for the answer.
He grinned. “Well, yeah. Had I told them that I’m a pirate and I actually had robbed the facility moments ago, I’d be heading straight to the gallows.” Getting hanged really wasn’t in his plans that day. “Are you going to tell me what landed you here?”
“They say,” the voice replied, mimicking his tone, “I stabbed someone.”
“Did you?”
“If I did,” the omega said, “he was a nasty alpha and deserved it.”OR: Hongjoong meets Seonghwa in a prison cell. Summary
Wooyoung, a sleek silver fox, and Yeosang, a fiery red fox, are inseparable; their shapes are similar, but their colors tell two completely different stories. Seonghwa, a snow leopard hybrid, moves with quiet grace and a long, sweeping tail. And Mingi, a big, clumsy black wolf, does his best to shrink himself in a world that has never made space for him.
Together, they try to survive in a society that has never treated hybrids fairly—one that fears them, uses them, and rarely sees them as equal. Cruelty has been the rule, not the exception.
But everything changes when each of them meets a human of their own—whether by adoption, accident, or companionship. Slowly, cautiously, they begin to learn that not all humans are the same. Some are gentle. Some are patient. Some care.
And perhaps, when these humans open their doors to hybrids, they discover they’ve taken on far more than they ever expected—something wild, loyal, and life-changing.
