Summary
"Come on! Let's get out of here!" He heard them shout but Zuko's eye was drawn not to their fleeing figures, but to the crumpled form in blue a short distance away. Pinned between a sturdy tree trunk and a large boulder on the edge of the river, the water tribe boy was out of view of his companions where he had been wedged by the large wave. He wasn't moving and judging by the twisted shape of his body, something was seriously wrong.
The bison lowed as it took to the sky without any other warning and fled with the lemur flying close behind. Dropping from the branch he was dangling from, the prince landed with feline-like grace and darted towards the unmoving tribesman. Something in Zuko's gut clenched anxiously the closer he got as his boots carried him swiftly towards his target.
The pained scream that ripped from the boy's chest was agonizing to hear in his good ear. Zuko froze as the tribesman gasped sharply, followed by another sharp intake of breath then another like he couldn't make his lungs work effectively.

After Uzushiogakure was wiped off the map the very night The Red Festival was held in honor of their Great Protector, the Nine-tailed Kitsune, The Kyuubi, Nagato, and his newborn cousin are the only survivors of the now-deceased clan and their neighboring ally village, Konoga, takes them in.
However, there seems to be more of the attack, and Nagato is quite tired, because his home village was gone in the blink of a night by a masked man, and he now had an unstable sight power. But he'll learn how to control it if that means he can protect Naruto, who is the only family he has left. It's worth the try.
That's his ninja way, one'd say.

In a moment he appears on the window sill, peering through the dirty, gray pane of glass at the contorted face of the child within. Silently, he slides it open. Wind stirs and enters the room alongside him. Cold breeze caresses the bundle of blankets. Inu is loath to barricade his exit, but he shuts the window behind him. Sealing in what little warmth leaks through the closed door.
Balancing his weight across his stride, Inu approaches the crib as a shadow. He peers down at Naruto, who continues to wail.

Lu Ten had had several crushes during his lifetime. There was Shen who caught butterflies on his fingers in kindergarten, there was Seto in primary school who would always win at hide and explode, there was Zihao just as he was beginning secondary school who was as quick as the sparks from his fingertips and who brought summer fruit from his grandfather’s orchards to class the first day of school. There were others of course, countless passing faces who would catch the boy’s eye sending his imagination spiraling. On more than one occasion when he would be paraded around town along with the rest of the family for holidays and festivals he would spot someone and try to find him when the whole show was over. He almost never did. All these boys had golden eyes.
Yuka had eyes like his own. And they were beautiful.
__The oldest son of Fire Lord Zuko and Master Katara, Prince of the Fire Nation and waterbending protege, Lu Ten, has fallen in love with a fisherman's son. As he often finds himself, not wholly unlike his father before him, something of his heart has been left in the Southern Water Tribe.

Zuko is presumed dead after his Agni Kai against his Father. His body is disposed of in the sea, a fitting death for a dishonorable firebender, and his death is covered up. However, he survives and is caught in the nets of some Earth Kingdom fishermen. He is raised in the Earth Kingdom unaware of his past. When his adoptive uncle is killed during a trip by Earth Kingdom mercenaries, he must begin to unravel the secrets of his origin to get revenge. Is it worth it though in the end?
