另一个带着冷冽杀意的声音自房间中央响起：“Killer，你带了什么人过来？”
“新同事。”Killer蹲下身，掐着Cross的下巴，强迫他抬起头展示给对方看：“但不那么新。”

Run as fast as you can.” It’s downright terrifying how the finality of those words echo inside his skull, sockets opening wider, unbelieving, scared, knowing his chances of survival are low. Surely sensing this, Nightmare’s grin turns wicked, sweetly adding, “If you can make it to the castle before they catch you, I’ll grant you my forgiveness…otherwise…”
Somehow, this is simultaneously worse and better than drowning.

“You shouldn’t run, dear,” He continued, unbothered. “It only prolongs the inevitable.”

Summary
Dust was on his couch after yet another long day at work when he saw a blinding flash of light in his garden. Getting up he slowly approached the bay window to take a look outside... and saw four strange skeletons dressed as a viking, a noble, a knight and a Roman yelling in foreign languages at each other.
He didn't know why he opened the window nor why he invited them inside, but he did, and by doing so he sealed the beginning of a very weird adventure with his four new roommates...
Dust - Modern Time, speaks English
Horror - Scandinavian Viking, speaks Old Norse
Killer - Ancient Roman, speaks Latin
Cross - Medieval Knight, speaks Old French

Basically a story about the boys coming from different time periods and time traveling together
Short chapters but it allows me not to burn-out too fast :')
Also, time being what it is, I should specify that I did NOT use AI for anything in this story, the languages all come from long researches to translate word by word in some cases, I did it all myself without the use of AI)

Cross dropped his face into his hands, burying the vivid flare of his skull behind trembling phalanges. “...And now it’s embarrassing,” he mumbled, his voice cracking beneath the weight of self-consciousness. “I’m so old and I have no experience—”
His hands slid further down, dragging along his face in theatrical misery before flopping back against the loveseat. “And then—” he sighed again, “I don’t want to kiss someone because they’ll be disappointed.”
It felt too honest. Too raw. The kind of thing you say and immediately regret.
He slumped deeper into the couch, like the cushions might swallow him whole if he just curled in enough. “Seriously,” he muttered, almost to himself, “who wants to kiss a thirty-year-old rookie?”

Running from your past isn't so simple when it's actively trying to catch up with you. Cross never had a simple life, no luxury, rare instances of happiness. When he finally breaks free, he's willing to do whatever it takes to stay out of the chains of a puppeteer.
An Underverse fic where Cross is in hiding from XGaster and gets taken into Nightmare's gang.
(The tags make it seem more horny than it is, it is horny in places but it's a more serious fic about morality and difficult emotions.)NOTE: Cross is not sharing a body with Chara in this fic.
