Summary
What Sokka called a 'classic' was in actuality a converted Sato delivery van with an illegal bench seat wedged behind the driver and passenger. There was absolutely no leg room, the safety harnesses weren't actually attached to any part of the old beater, and it topped out at 45 miles an hour if the wind was at their back. He had prayed for his life more times that he'd like to admit sitting up front in the rickety death trap- Spirits knew what would happen to the weight distribution when the girls joined them. Sokka couldn't even drive the monster without having his copilot -him- lean his full torso out the window to check the blind spot since he forgot to install mirrors and the back window was non-existent. And the worst part… Sokka kept referring to it as 'Sparky- the Love Machine.'
Not surprisingly, for the majority of the trip Zuko found himself staring out the window questioning his life choices.
Zuko prayed that Solstice in the Watertribe would be worth it.

Healing a broken world is much like healing a broken heart. Maybe the pieces will never quite fit back together perfectly or a few go missing along the way. But what fills in the gaps can bloom into something you never dreamed possible.
Life and love flow like the ever changing tides.

Summary
It seemed like any other diplomatic excursion- a visitation request was received, travel arrangements were made, go shake hands, come back home - done. But what the Fire Lord hadn't counted on was being stripped of his formal robes and paraded around in a loincloth in some asinine Spirit Trial. And to make matters worse- he keeps seeing Katara. But that was impossible- his eyes must be playing tricks on him. Why in Koh would a waterbender be on Sun Warrior Island?
Zuko maintained that the Spirits love watching him suffer.
*UPDATE* Happy Writer Reveal Day!
PS- does anyone know how to insert the art pieces into the document?

Summary
So remember- whenever you see the Sun and the Moon together in the sky, wish them joy and they will bring you the same. Their story reminds us to hold those we cherish dear for however long we can. Our time together, my darling, may be a fleeting thing, but love goes on and on.

Summary
Zuko never held a pivotal position in the royal family. He was just the son of Fire Lord Azulon’s secondborn, and brother of Azula, the prodigy. To most, he was nothing more than some entitled guy they had to tolerate, so insignificant that nobody really protested when a Water Tribe bride was deemed suitable for him.
Yet he soon finds himself kneeling behind his father at the Coronation Plaza, draped in funeral robes for the second time that month while the nation hails their new Fire Lord. Now, as the unwanted heir with a foreign wife, he must navigate the deadly politics of the Fire Nation court to survive.

Summary
Without the demands of a century-long war, waterbenders use their gifts for art rather than combat. Katara and her family’s troupe of waterbending performers travel to the Fire Nation to exhibit for its lord. With a dance of moon-silvered water, Katara ensnares an admirer who offers gifts and unsigned notes.
As the troupe spends six weeks with the capital’s firebenders to craft an unforgettable tandem performance—a union of fire and water—Katara extends an invitation to meet the admirer. She is not expecting Fire Lord Zuko himself.
A hidden duet between them ignites kinship, passion, and then fierce devotion.

Summary
Part of her wonders if she should thank him—if she could—but when she pulls away from her father and tries to make sense of the tangled words brewing in the back of her throat, Zuko is busy securing the balloon, dragging it off to the side and neatly folding the fabric back into the basket. The deep furrow of his brow and the tense set of his jaw gives her pause. His eyes are stormy and conflicted, so Katara bites her tongue, spins on her heel, and remembers a prince clad in black and red who spits fire and only knows how to take.
Against all odds, in the moments between now and the end, Katara falls for Zuko.
