Her tone was miles larger than Helena was, than she could ever dream of being. Above her head, the question floated; imposing and waiting. Harmony had surrounded her in mind and spirit, and all Helena was missing was her body.
She squeezed her thighs together without thinking, and whimpered at how it made every muscle in her stomach jump.
“Thank you,” Helena said, voice shriveling.

Harmony laughed. “Do you even know what you’re asking for?”
“You,” Helly breathed. “Need you.”
That was a no. Helly’s body was responding to unfamiliar stimuli, reactions brewing in the deepest parts of her that even muscle memory couldn’t address. Harmony tried not to think about what that meant for Helena.
