Evening hours painted the sky in beautiful, darkening shades of purples and blues and yellows. Mother Spring had decorated UA's courtyard, where they used to do all their physical training, with her beautiful pink flowers. Little cherry blossoms were falling from their blooming tree branches, a trademark of both graduating and welcoming school ceremonies in Japan.
Just like that, they had gone full circle; once again, all 20 of them were standing in the same place, under the same trees, ready to open a brand new chapter in their lives.
Just like then, the same starstruck look in their eyes. Except this time, they weren't strangers anymore.
With the buzzing accompaniment of cicadas, she thought about all the conversations that had been increasingly taking over her friend group's hangouts. About further studies abroad, work, agencies, about the future, and it had all sounded so exciting, and just exciting. It was only now that she was realizing 'the future' was no longer a distant concept, but a few months away.

HAWKS: I’ve been told people want to know my hair routine, and sorry to burst any bubbles, but I don’t actually have a hair routine. I usually just let it air dry. It does its own thing.
The camera zooms in to one side of the bathroom counter which very clearly houses a fancy-looking blow dryer, a tube of styling gel for spikes, and a can of anti-frizz hair cream.
