Addressed to Azirapil from a Mr. “Crawly,” it appears to be begging for the other’s return to Ur from a western journey with another individual, Abiraham. The relationship between the two (brothers? business partners? friends?) is unknown.

Jingyi grabs A-Jing and Zizhen by their shoulders and brings their faces together. “Listen to me. Are you listening?” He shakes them. There’s a manic look in his eyes that Zizhen has only ever seen when Jingyi gets no sleep. “Under no circumstances are the Captain and Commander allowed to find out about this. Captain Lan will throw me off the ship. Commander Wei will think it’s hilarious. I will become the laughingstock of the entire federation.”

Except, there's something very suspicious going on in the Imperial Palace, and while Wei Wuxian might not be able to help Lan Wangji in solving it, the unassuming and soft-spoken "Prince-Concubine Mo" sure can.

It nearly slips out then, the truth of the matter. Wei Wuxian opens his mouth to snap back ‘There’s no helping me, not now!’ but the words stick in his throat. Shijie is crying and Jiang Cheng is defiant and Lan Zhan is staring at him so earnestly that Wei Wuxian simply doesn’t know how to tell them all that he’s living on borrowed time.
So he doesn’t.

The primary points of AU canon divergence here are that the baby Changeling from “The Begotten” (S5E12) survived, Jadzia was not killed in "Tears of the Prophets" (S6E26), Bashir and Garak managed to resolve all those years of UST sometime in the later seasons, and all this resulted in (nearly) everyone’s canon endings getting scrambled.
