But at least give enough of a damn to say that to my face. What's your problem with me?”
Makoto’s eyes are so tired and empty, a dull grey behind unkempt bangs. He looks down but this time Akihiko lets him. He's always had trouble with eye contact. He's doing it again, he's indulging that weakness instead of bearing his spine and demanding anything. He hadn’t even been this weak with Miki.
“I still love you.”
He leaves. Closure is a lie. Everything is open and burning and raw and that's the truth.

OVERVIEW
In case the tags were not a give away, this is a going to be something of a continuation of Persona 3's themes and characters, while integrating and removing various aspects of canon at my leisure. While I will endeavor to maintain a continuity in terms of some rules, the timeline is going to be up to some changes (Basically, this just means that the events of P4 Arena didn't happen but certain aspects may make appearances. Spoiler, I guess).
Persona 3 and, to a lesser extent, Persona 5's events and setting are assumed knowledge. As little refreshing information will be given, it is strongly recommend that you are familiar with both. If you are not, it is recommended that you play / watch the stories first before proceeding.
