“Do you…” she found herself starting again, before hesitating, because it was of no consequence to her, and Sandrone always followed logic more than anything else. But she was so curious, her gears halting and then erratically speeding up in a pattern she didn’t recognize. She needed to ask, if only to ebb this uneasy and vulnerable feeling away. “...Do you also stay in her room like you do with mine?”
Columbina stopped eating, surprised by the question. She had no idea about the suffocating feeling in Sandrone's chest that accompanied her as she waited for her answer in a bated breath. “No,” she eventually replied. “I only stay in your room, I feel most comfortable here with you.”
Sandrone was a clockwork doll, and Columbina was a moon goddess. Both were living solitary lives before they met, both unable to experience emotions the way ordinary humans could. Yet, somehow, their paths converged and the foundations of everything Sandrone thought she knew crumbled to the ground.

Summary
Eighteen times she has taken what wasn't offered. Eighteen times she has said 'I love you' and 'I'm sorry' like they were the same word. Eighteen times she has wiped away the evidence and told herself there was nothing left.
But there is always something left. Not just on the skin: on her. Warmth she cannot generate alone, closeness she was never offered, a piece of Sandrone she carries until she can steal it again.
Columbina cannot stop. She knows what she is and she hates herself for it. But stopping would mean giving up the only part of Sandrone she can have and she needs her too much to let go.

“So,” opens Columbina, in her most polite and pleasant voice, “long time no see, Sandrone.”
Sandrone’s shoulders instantly go rigid.
“Yes,” she says, and her words have a familiar edge to them, one that used to pop up whenever she was accosted by strangers in public. “Long time no see.”
Over a decade after their messy breakup on set, world-class pop singer Columbina Hyposelenia crosses paths with an old flame at an awards show.

“I noticed something.” The mirth in her lips returns. Columbina leans closer. “You never once called me those… flowery names I call you. Beloved, dearest, my love… Is it something I should worry about?”
“What are you on this time?” Sandrone snarks back.
Columbina makes a face. “I’ve improved in reading between the lines, actually. What I’m hearing now is…” She pauses, as if to piece the words together, “…’I haven’t changed a bit since I got married because Columbina isn’t worth the improvement.’”
Sandrone sits up. “What?! That is a far-fetched conclusion even I haven’t thought of!”
With the Tsaritsa's blessing, Sandrone retires from her Harbinger status and returns to Nod-Krai to meet with Columbina, while continuing to pursue her personal affairs and projects as an accomplished engineer. Some time after, they both decide it’s a wonderful time to settle down and live their lives side-by-side as Hyposelenia-Guillotins.

Summary
Sandrone retells the story she has explained thrice by now; the backup plan in Fontaine, the blueprints updated after her interactions with the Wanderer, Master Albedo, and the witches of the Hexenzirkel, the important nature of her core, and all the instructions a robot can give to be rebuilt over and over again if needed. Lauma listens, and listens, and the sun setting behind her gives the warmth in her eyes a certain spark that makes Sandrone feel as if she could remotely understand what dying and reviving by her own hand feels like.
“It pleases me to hear of your success,” Lauma says, when Sandrone runs out of things to explain. “Nod-Krai welcomes you back again, for as long as you may need. Though I suppose you came here with a goal in mind?”
In the aftermath of her rebirth, with Columbina dragging her along into a mission to get Lauma and Nefer to fix whatever is keeping them apart, Sandrone finds that what comes after death and learning to live again is an odd thing indeed.

Summary
Nearly every time Raya and Namaari try to find a moment alone, someone interrupts them. Being in a relationship with a princess isn’t always the easiest, with people constantly needing the both of them for something or other. It can be frustrating at times, embarrassing at others, and occasionally even funny, but their desire to have just five minutes along together stands strong through it all. The longer they are together, the more they believe that privacy may never be possible, and they learn to simply accept that.
(Or, 5 times during Raya and Namaari’s relationship they are interrupted while having a private moment together, and 1 time they are not)

Namaari has been captivated by Raya’s hair, and Raya herself, for six years. She notices how Raya’s hair seems to reflect her emotions and who she is as a person. Namaari craves to run her hands through it during hard times, to calm and soothe it, as well as during times of peace, just to feel its softness and to be close to Raya. As enemies, the wish is only that, a wish, but as friends...as friends, maybe Namaari can provide the comfort she longed to give in the past, but never could.

Elphaba’s melting shadow had been wearing the hat. Glinda wasn’t sure of the scientification of melting, but surely either all or none of her clothes should have melted. Surely Elphaba herself shouldn’t have melted. Fiyero’s body was missing, and Elphaba’s hat was in her hands.
Glinda stared at herself in the mirror. Her eyes were bloodshot, and she realized she must have been crying. She looked crazy. It didn’t matter.
