Summary

There are angry rumors that it's to keep the stations apart, to keep Alpha and GoSci separate from everything and everyone else. Other whispers talk about one person decades ago falling deeply into grief when the Chancellor at the time floated their soulmate, so deeply that they tried to kill the Chancellor and were floated as well. It's only when a spear pierces Jasper's chest that Clarke starts to think that maybe there's another reason why people don't find their soulmate on the Ark.
Earth is nothing like what she expected. River monsters, acid fog, a coalition of Grounders, Mountain Men. But she also never expected a soulmate like Bellamy Blake.
