Summary
Vash taking custody of Lina was a less than ideal situation, spawning nightmares that would still haunt him over a decade later, but he wouldn't give her up for the world. Donning the persona of "Eriks", he went from estranged uncle to single father, and he plays the role well. A little too well, Lina would say with a grimace, referencing his passion for embarassing her with Tiktok dances in the schoolyard.
Introducing Nicholas D. Wolfwood, an ex-convict trying to be there for his own daughter, Maylene. The girls happen to go to the same school, meaning their fathers are bound to meet eventually, whether that first impression goes so well or not. Both are running from their dark pasts and don't realize, they might even be running from the same person.
[ modern au where vash has adopted lina and taken on the eriks persona to hide her/keep her safe (FROM WHAT??? u will find out 😈) and wolfwood is just vibing w his own daughter and their daughers r bestiesss lol ]

Summary
Vash needs a new major. Meryl needs something to write about. Wolfwood needs a friend. Milly's kinda just happy to be there.
The gang sets off on some grand adventures together to overcome loss, to find themselves, and to play metaphorical 'tag' with their amassed gay feelings.
Featuring many hits like spin the bottle, road trips, amusement parks, panic attacks, sibling spats, enough marijuana to start a dispensary, Kuroneko, a drag queen, dangerous misuse of lab chemicals, Meryl hitting Wolfwood with her car, and a lot of other silly bullshit shenanigans.

Summary
It feels like a dream. A fucked up ambien dream that he wishes he couldn't remember.
He should be waking up right now. He should be in bed, groaning at the incessant knocking of his best friend who will pretend that he left a charger at Kojiro's house the other night, when clearly, he just wants him to make him breakfast. Kojiro would get up, tell him all about his stupid nightmare, and Kaoru would mock him for it, insist he's going to beat Adam in their beef, call Kojiro a sap.
Kojiro can feel blood dripping between his fingers, already coagulating into river forks over his wrists that he'll have to scrub away later. There are no dreams here. His head is empty. All he sees is pink and red, pink and red, pink and red-

Summary
A week ago, Nicholas got a cutely-worded, fumbling email from some guy asking if he was taking on new subs. Then, a date was set.
It takes Vash five whole minutes to knock on the door, and as soon as it opens, one thing becomes apparently clear.
“Vash, I presume?” Nicholas asks.
“T-that’s me!” Vash manages.
Oh, Nicholas knows this is going to be fun.

Summary
“And how many double dollars will you give me for gettin’ that thing offa you?” Wolfwood teases, leaning over his face, a smirk appearing whose intention is to solve the mystery behind Vash’s cryptic positivity. He's trying to get him to talk on purpose.
“I'll buy you one drink.” A feeble attempt at playing along. Vash holds one finger up with his free hand to really sell it, but his ataxic speech has betrayed him for sure.
“Deal. You sure you're alright, Needle-Noggin?”
[Vash sustains an injury that Wolfwood thinks even a plant like him might not survive.]

Summary
Wolfwood had to question to himself why he and Vash were so comfortable being more affectionate with each other. Perhaps it was companionship; a feeling of solace that they did not need to give voice to, but that they could both understand. Even though Wolfwood had not been aware of it before, and was still hesitant to confront. Yet he has slowly begun to accept that no matter how much he tried, he could not pull away, for he was like metal and Vash was like a magnet.

Summary
Since Kojiro’s return from Italy and moving in with Kaoru, who is in college studying computer science, it has become increasingly more difficult for Kaoru to hide his romantic feelings for his life-long friend. Luckily, Kojiro gaining a bit of online success has given the two of them a new outlet for their (arguing? Flirting?) one that calls attention to just how close they are.

Summary
He takes him in with the dusk, observing him like art, because this is the time of day he paints a picture most stunning. Because it’s the sunset that yields to compliment Kaoru, and oh—it’s dawning on him that it’s his first decent view of Kaoru without his cast, without any gauze or bandages. The only tokens of memento he wears from that incident are the fresh marks reluctant to fade from his skin.
Below him, the waves lap the pier in a loud greeting, acknowledging Kaoru’s power as though he is some entity of the sea, and if it were so, he could use his siren’s song to pull him under the seafoam. And Kojiro wouldn’t resist.
Kojiro finds Kaoru bathed in twilight, enjoying a little taste of freedom after his recovery. Despite having tended to him through the ordeal, the new routine proves hard to break, and Kojiro wants to take him home to take care of him.
After weeks of neglecting more lascivious needs, they yield to suppressed desires and emotions.
