“Yunho, dear, wake up,” a voice startled him. When he looked up he saw Seonghwa right in front of him.
He just sighed as an answer, looking around at the half void place and back at his friend, feeling defeated by yet again another slow morning at the local tavern.
Immense boredom had taken over him, for there was not much more to do other than to serve their most loyal clients and to keep cleaning over clean. And Yunho... Yunho wanted something else.
He wanted to experience an adventure—no, scratch that—he yearned for it.
He wanted more in life than to be trapped into those same four wooden walls for the rest of his years.
And coincidentally that was something that only the one and only seasoned adventurer Song Mingi could change.

Summary
The tension lingering between the Unseelie and Seelie courts was supposed to be put on hold for the most important night of the year, celebrating the 25th birthday of the Unseelie Crown Prince. Yet for some, such as the Seelie Hand-in-waiting, Song Mingi, it became worse as he suddenly found himself more often in the presence of a certain Unseelie soldier, Jeong Yunho. That night, amidst cutting a birthday cake and an illicit duel, marked a forever change in their already estranged relationship as boundaries were crossed and feelings were involved.
