There’s noise on the other side of the door. A chair, screeching against wood floors. Then footsteps, stumbling closer. Someone comes marching in, eyes trained on Liam, and pushes him aside to turn the thing off with a swift flick of a switch.
Louis’ heart leaps into his throat.
He grips the duvet that’s been bunched up at the foot of the bed and yanks it up around himself. Maybe it’s too much movement too fast because he goes dizzy, black dots speckling his vision.
When Harry finally turns around, Louis thinks he’s about to pass out. What the fuck. What the fuck.
“We couldn’t go anywhere else,” Louis thinks he hears Liam say, beneath the current of his own blood rushing through his ears. “Louis? Lou?”---
When Liam finds Louis alone in a feral state outside his home, he can't bring him home for fear of Louis harming his own omega partner. He can't alert authorities or go to a shelter, as documented feral spells function like black spots on a persons record for the rest of their lives. In the end, he can only think of one possible safe location to bring Louis to; Harry's. But Louis and Harry haven't spoken in three years. He heads to the door and opens it. On the other side is one of the most beautiful men Louis has ever seen. He’s a bit taller than Louis and he has broad shoulders. His legs seem to last for days and Louis can tell that he’s muscular, but with a feminine softness in his form. He has short curly hair and his eyes are the prettiest shade of green Louis has ever encountered before. There’s a smile on his face and dimples on his cheeks and Louis kind of wants to dig his finger in the left one. Just poke it a little.
The smile on the man’s face dies when he sees Louis. The following silence is uncomfortable.
“Louis Tomlinson,” the man says with distaste in his voice. Louis can’t comprehend why he sounds like that. He’s only just met the man… Oh, wait! No. He knows this man. Or he knew him when he was a boy. The man before him is Harry Styles, the boy he and his mates back in school used to bully relentlessly.

It’s not the gum wrappers, the long dark hairs, the old white man music, the dish rinsing fetish, or the random nudity that he tries to pass off as quirky free-spiritedness when, really, he just gets a twisted thrill out of parading that big dick around. It’s the combination of all of it, and the fact that it’s here, every single day, every single time Louis gets up to go for a piss or get himself a cup of tea in his own fucking kitchen.
If Harry wasn’t just as stubborn as Louis, if he didn’t get that twinkle in his eye every time he sparked a reaction, maybe his faults could’ve been forgiven. But Harry’s a fucking cunt, just like Louis, so here they are.
