Summary

Watching him struggle for air after breathing the particulates of collapsed buildings, and the black smoke of burning gas and oil amidst all the destruction, Shouta can't help wondering why he'd even felt compelled to come here. Why he'd climbed all those stories outside the hospital building, and why he now sat in the open window, like a covert sentry working the night shift.
