    The air itself had stilled and the wind seemed to freeze. Everyone turned their gazes upward to a spot just by the roof of an office building. Reality blipped and warped. The world lost focus. A boom shook the Earth, deafening and ground shaking.

    He looked back up just in time to see a body fall from where the site of the blip. Its acceleration was slowed, but still plummeting fast. With a powerful kick of his legs, he flew forward, meeting them halfway. He gathered them in his arms and carefully touched back down.

    It was a boy. No older than eighteen, and covered in wounds and grime. And he was wearing a very familiar scarf.

After his idol crashed his dreams so thoroughly he gave up on going to UA and started the new year in a high school that seems determined to push him over the edge, he apparently stumbled upon a villain infiltrating UA. This test, dubbed the Hell Test by students and faculty alike, is grueling for grown adults with months to study, so doing well on it as a first year with no prep time is nigh impossible.

    So why is Midoriya flying through it as if it's nothing?

    Overhaul sighed, annoyed. The taller child flinched ever so subtly.

    “I’m saying your new job is to watch over my charges, keep them safe, keep them here in my base, deliver them calmly to the labs for their daily dissection and most importantly, make sure they stay where they are supposed to. That one-” Overhaul jerked towards the older child, with the green hair. “Likes to run.”

    “So you’re saying…”

    Overhaul pinched the bridge of his mask. “You’re their babysitter, yes.”

    Aizawa Shouta has spent six months carefully working up the ranks of the Shie Hassaikai as a double agent in order to gain information on how exactly the quirk erasing bullets are being produced.

    Who better than the teacher turned secret agent to watch over the kids whose blood and bones make the bullets vital to Shie hassaikai's entire operation.

    In other words, Aizawa is a double agent working for Chisaki kai. After earning Kai's trust, the man decides that Aizawa should babysit Eri and Izuku, who are nessesary for the quirk bullets to work.

His dreams of having a Quirk useful for heroism, or even any Quirk at all, spiral into a nightmare, whilst Katsuki’s dreams of finally being rid of his utmost annoyance turn into a sour reality. As Izuku loses all hope in ever seeing those he loves again, Katsuki vows to become the hero he failed to be for Izuku.

    Two different perspectives of life play out; the first a horror story of entrapment and human experimentation, and the other a one-sided reconciliation with a decade of wrongs that can no longer be righted.

    “Come now, we’ve covered this,” the ghost of Koro-sensei’s voice seemed to reach across the centuries to say. “The poor beast isn’t as terrifying as all that. Start by observing how he swings that blade. Next, look over each movement with the same attention to detail and piece together what you find.”

    There.

    “Don’t you see?” Koro-sensei asked.

    And he did. Stain was skilled and he had many blades, both literal and metaphorical. It would be near impossible for a hero of Nagisa’s skill level to beat him, steel to steel.

    But Nagisa didn’t need to beat him. Because he didn’t need to be a hero, not to do this.

    “Voila,” Koro-sensei said. “A trivial adversary indeed.

    “Now, use that trusty blade to fillet him.”

    The room seemed to lean in all at once, a ripple of anticipation spreading through the students. Even the green-haired boy in the front row — who already had a notebook open — was practically vibrating, pen poised like he was about to record every word.

    For a moment, Nagisa only smiled back at them, soft, calm, the kind of expression that gave nothing away and yet somehow eased the air in the room. His eyes swept lightly across the expectant faces, catching sparks of excitement, curiosity, and even a little awe. Then, with the same steady composure he had carried all morning, he answered:

    “…Why, I’m Quirkless.”

    Small spiral marks on his left shoulder, coloring similar to the bruises he got playing with other kids.

    They weren't large or painful, and most kids at school thought they looked cool, so he didn't think about them. If he didn't want to answer questions about them, he wore a shirt with sleeves. It was that simple.

    It wasn't until another kid made fun of his patterns - calling them "girly" for their coloration - and he felt them itch and grow under his gaze that his mother sat him down and told Bobby about his father.
