Summary
"Where are they going?" Bryan asked. "Is that it? Is it, like, church? Bingo night? Did we just get saved by the bell?"
Leon didn't answer right away, mostly because he was grieving. He'd had the bingo joke loaded and ready since the first toll of the bell, and now a man in a hi-vis vest had walked up and stolen it from him in broad daylight.

Summary
Bryan winced, "Okay, sorry, not Lucas, got it. Lebron?"
This time the zombie didn’t even bother shaking its head. It just looked at him, flatly, for a very long moment, in a way that made Bryan feel as though a dead man had just been personally disappointed in him.
"Yeah, no, that one was a reach," he admitted. "I panicked."
-
In which Bryan, for once his life, wants to complete a single delivery without going through utter hell.
Instead, he ends up adopting an (un)dead rookie cop who follows him everywhere like a lost puppy, and who is very bitey with anyone else.
Set during the events of Resident Evil 2 (Remake), with a heavily canon divergent plot!

It was impossible to imagine that such cold blooded killers could be gentle with another person. And yet, despite their lethal profession and bloodstained hands, there was a tenderness that they showed only to each other.

“I shouldn’t have assumed this place was deserted.”
“I shouldn’t have tried to kill you,” Fugo combats.
“Perhaps that makes us even.”
“Perhaps.”
Giorno, the startings of a grin twitching at the corner of his mouth, extends his hand across the table. He’s careful, keeping the movement slow and methodical. “Giorno Giovanna,” He states, showing Fugo his palm. He wonders if Fugo’s hand is as cold as it looks.

Summary
Living in Morioh was supposed to be temporary. The Speedwagon Foundation had allotted enough resources for Jotaro to stay long enough to deal with the imminent threats to the town and no more. But putting down roots tends to complicate things, and though he hadn't planned on still sleeping in Kishibe Rohan's bed months after Kira's death, he was still here. Still smoking cigarettes on Rohan's back porch. Still finding his way out of the darkness.

Summary
he was no longer the ghoul that was once feared by all walks of life, he had retired that attire long ago. he may still wear the mask, but the persona that had once accompanied it had long broken away, setting free a calmer, softer soul that only fought for the sake of others. no killing for war, no killing for settling a feud. the only lives he took were pointless lives that could be taken without a trace, and given to the lost souls of honeycomb cafe who had nowhere else to run.
the angel had fallen along ago, and hiyori was only left with the shedding remains of his kagune to prove it.
but ibara didn’t need to know that. none of them needed to know.

“we’ve seen how fond you secretly are of ibara, especially how much you love how he calls you ‘your highness’, even if it's out of spite. you can’t hide anything like that from us.”
hiyori let out a short giggle as he felt jun’s hand move to pinch his reddened cheek, because he knew how dangerously right they both were.
“…and how much you love his academic writings.”
“and how you tell us to shut up when he’s presenting!”
“…and how you watch him like he holds the secrets to the universe in his eyes.”
“and not to mention—“
“okay fine! i’ll admit it!”
— or where hiyori and ibara are rivals in every academic field possible, but little did they know that that rivalry was fuelled by nothing but love (and apparently nagisa and jun were the only ones that did know)

Summary
It wasn't supposed to end this way. On opposite sides of the war, Hubert had assumed that the next time he saw Ferdinand von Aegir, he would be sending dark spikes through that beautiful noble breast. Instead, Hubert is being held captive, intended to be kept alive only to harvest what information Dimitri can get, when instead what he gets is a heart to heart with his old schoolboy crush. Hubert would rather have the torture, if he's being honest.

Hubert could not pinpoint the exact moment he awoke.
To put it simply, one day he had existed as his normal self – his new self, of a young boy befitting his young, childish mind and all his stupid fantasies – and the next morning he had awoken to the startling, thundering echo of a whole other life’s memories in his head, filling it to the brim, to the point of bursting. In just one rise of the sun, a new dawn, Hubert had awoken as his old self. A von Vestra, Minister of the Imperial Household, Imperial Spymaster, murderer, an assassin, a-
A dead man – a corpse broken upon the front steps of the Imperial Palace.Hubert died and awakes to a new world without Crests or the Church. But the Adrestian Empire lost the war, his flock were shot from the sky, and her Majesty's vision of a new dawn was never brought to the horizon.
