He’s looking for Hob Gadling, because… well, he’s telling himself it’s because he wants to hear more about the advancements of the 21st century, because at their last couple of hang-outs Hob has wheedled Dream into talking about himself somehow, and as a result he’s missed out on Hob’s lively descriptions of recent inventions. That is definitely the reason that he has pinpointed Hob’s location to this particular club, and arrived there himself. It has nothing to do with him missing Hob in particular. Nothing at all.
Or: Dream of the Endless goes clubbing, and gets more than he bargained for.
