The punk scene in all likelihood saved Lark's life; for a while, he was miserable in all the right ways. But reading Kropotkin and doing drugs never actually fixed anything. The only fulfilling part of his life is his job as a sound tech at a local club.
Sadly, sometimes that means he has to deal with asshole musicians who think they're hot shit.

Then, Bear wrapped his devilish hands around the child’s body and took him from Autumn’s hold. She gasped, cried out and reached for the boy. Her son has been ripped away from her, she has lost him, his innocence will be stripped down and he will have to suffer.
Autumn was not able to protect her own son for even a few minutes. Hen cried, and Autumn began to sob once more. Hen deserved a better life but Autumn was trapped, she will never be able to give him what he deserves. She mustn't love him, for it will be both of their downfalls. But for those few moments of holding the weak boy in her arms, Autumn got to pretend she was a mother. Bear opens his mouth, facing the healer. Autumn clutches at her chest.

Fate really had a twisted sense of humor when it came to a one Glenn Close. He was getting used to being its mangled punching bag, getting his teeth knocked out then standing up, giving it a thumbs up and saying ‘It’s alright, I deserved that one.’ Sure it was exhausting, but if he was oblivious and thought he didn't deserve any of it, he’d be focusing way too much on life’s unfair trials over actually having a life.
There are a lot of shit things that have happened to Glenn, between the chronic illness, the divorced parents, hateful mother, absent father, dead wife, etc. But really, the hardest thing he’s ever had to face is Nicholas Close’s sad puppy eyes. Glenn loves his son, has never been ashamed of that, and it’s really only more noticeable when Nick is able to bend him at his will. Glenn has never claimed to have will power, and Nick does get his charm from his Dad.

Lark was still attached to Sparrow’s hip but he had a good job at a bar downtown and was helping Rebecca and Sparrow raise their kids. Terry Jr. had married a wonderful woman named Veronica Marlowe and became the step-dad to a kid named Scary,
things were looking up! The five of them were no longer rotting away from memories of those three dreadful years away from society and their families. Nothing was ever simple, but it was better than before and thats what counts.
