Summary
In the years following the fall of Troy, Ithaca remains bound to the absence of its king.

Firstly, passionate inphernals will only burn for their passion. More often than not, they cannot be reasoned with.
Secondly, if the wind is right, it takes only one spark to burn the forest and its fauna.
And lastly, akin to morels that attest to a forest fire, his scars attest to what love has done to him; may it never belong to him again.
...Quite a harsh way to put it, but life did not spare him from its harshness. He did not mind. He was better off working alone anyway.

A human girl is going to be married off to a rich man at only 17, having had her whole life been taken over by her controlling family becoming nothing more than a pawn in their eyes for money, being married off one month before she could say no to such a proposal.At least until she gets mugged and shot.
She did not want to turn to an afterlife she didn't want and that would only torture her further with her mother's expectations. An angel sends the girl to live out a second life in another world...
What she didn't expect was to not only be isekaied into one of her favorite games, but also to have multiple awakenings about who 'she' truly is deep inside.

Tons of angst in the first half of the first chapter, but this fic is mostly gonna be fluff filled as this is absolutely a comfort fic. There will be mentions of some of the shit the main character went through, though.

Clown, a hunter famous for singlehandedly taking on a dragon, takes on the bounty of a haunted forest, named Lifesteal thanks to its infamy, which is located far from the capital, next to a godforsaken town. Rumors say that whoever enters the forest is never seen again, that those who negligent or ignorant enough to stray into the tall pines are taken by the master of the haunted forest: a monster that no one has ever seen nor lived to tell the tale.
With Rek, the sole survivor of Lifesteal who is looking for his lost friend, Clown sets out to slay the monster that has been terrorizing the town. Will he, though, when he has caught a god's eye?

Clown and Rasplin looked at each other at the sudden question before an idea sprang into Clown’s head. He looked at Mid, who just shrugged at him with the cue card in her hand, before stepping back up to the mic.
“I’m sorry everyone, but this face is reserved for someone special” he announced to the stadium, the smirk audible in his voice as everyone, including Rasplin, shrieked in shock at his answer.
“For your partner, perhaps?” he heard Leowook ask.
Clown heard Rasplin laugh behind him.
“My boyfriend, yeah.”
Clown’s face broke out into a massive smile as the cameras panned away from the stage, and the face of a pretty white-haired man filled the screen.
