Then, he left, though it took him a painfully long time to make it to the doors of Pandora’s office. Heinrix watched him inch away with frustration, the desire to speak burning hotter with every passing second. However, when the doors finally slammed shut, he hesitated.
Pandora was still staring at the closed doors, her posture uncannily still. She made no effort to either turn to him or say anything, and her silence seemed to radiate until it had enveloped him as well. However, as the silence stretched, it did so like a noose around his neck.
Before it might pull taut, Heinrix choked out, “Pandora?”

TW: Suicide/Suicide attempt
Set during the Devil ending, so spoilers! I wanted to add a scene set between Takemura telling V about her ‘options’ and her signing the Arasaka contract. I also wanted to portray more of V’s inner turmoil at her situation and this was where my mind went, as I am an angst factory 😂.
Basically, it was also an excuse for me to add some hurt/comfort for V & Goro and for them to have an emotional “hugging-in-the-shower” moment.
