Summary
Ever a guardian, Aziraphale kept watch. Sliver-shafts of moonlight sliced ribbons across Crowley’s face. The emptiness of it unnerved the angel. Even in slumber, his expressive face had always told stories. Syllables shifted in the corners of his mouth; sentences found themselves punctuated with the movement of an eyebrow. Now, only still silence, even in sleep.
Heavenly forces decide the best way to get their once-dutiful soldier back is to slaughter his only real reason for rebellion. Their attempt leaves Crowley wounded and voiceless. Aziraphale tries his best to heal him and accept the soundlessness of this new verse of their song.Bookmarked by doduckshaveears

Summary
“It doesn’t make sense, does it? Why create something only to make them suffer? She says they’re Her chosen creations,” Lucifer snorted. Raphael looked up. Lucifer’s golden eyes were fixed beyond the two of them. They’d always had the same eyes and the haunted look in Lucifer’s was mirrored in his own. It was only years later that he’d learn how well Lucifer could lie. “Shouldn’t life be about happiness?”
Not then, not yet, but it was the beginning of it.
Raphael fell.
All he ever did was ask questions.

Summary
"Are you hurt?" Aziraphale repeats, taking another assertive step toward the trembling demon. Crowley's jaw flexes at the question, infuriation flickering in his golden irises at the angel's determination.
"Yes, alright?" Crowley concedes in a low hiss, "Yes. Is that what you wanted to hear?"
Aziraphale's expression softens as grief tugs at his heart, his pale blonde eyebrows drawing up in the inner corners. Crowley's eyes immediately fall from Aziraphale's face, the corner of his mouth curling into a suppressed frown.
"I can handle myself," Crowley assures, "Lock the door on your way out."
Aziraphale watches the demon turn.
"No."
Crowley stops, looking over his shoulder in confusion, ".. what?"
"No. I'm not leaving until you let me help you," The angel says, "I care about you, Crowley. And I know that you trust me, however much you might deny it."
Crowley clenches his teeth together tightly, his thin fingers digging into the fabric of his blazer.
"So, please," Aziraphale pleas gently, approaching another few steps to close the distance between them, "let me try to help."OR: Aziraphale finds Crowley after he has been tortured by Hell and tends to his wounds.

Summary
Crowley flees Europe during World War II. To Hawaii, at a REALLY bad time (poor unlucky bastard). Kushiel, the Angel of Punishment, assumes Pearl Harbor is Crowley's doing, and attacks him, very nearly killing him. Crowley invokes his right to Sanctuary, which only a willing angel can grant outside of a church. Who do you think he calls? Now it's up to Aziraphale to rescue him without making it look like a rescue to his fellow angels.

Summary
"Do you want me to open the blinds?”
“Heaven, no. People might think it an invitation to enter. Let me just-“
With a moment’s careful focus a soft light forms in the air and begins slowly to strengthen. Crowley’s jaw drops.
“Angel, are- are you-?”
The silver light is soft and warm, reminiscent of moonlight on a summer’s night. It has no physical source; it simply exists, loosely ringing Aziraphale’s head and fluctuating in intensity whenever he needs it to. Crowley swallows hard.
“I’m- I just- Th- I’ve never seen it. Your, uh. Yeah. Before.”
He gestures, a little futilely, to Aziraphale’s newly visible halo. Aziraphale flushes gently.
“I don’t exactly go around showing it off."

Summary
Some Satanic monks summon Aziraphale to sacrifice to a Beast of Hell. Unbeknownst to everyone involved, the Beast is Crowley. The ritual sort of goes downhill after that.

Summary
Aziraphale really should have noticed earlier.
He'd always known that Crowley isn't like other demons. He cares about kids, he performs miracles as part of their Arrangement, and he has never seemed truly invested in furthering the plans of the executives Below. Yet, even after all these years together, it didn't occur to Aziraphale until recently that there was something else that sets Crowley apart: he isn't proud of his Fall. In fact, if the angel didn't know any better, he would say Crowley regrets it.
(Aka 5 times Aziraphale fails to notice Crowley's pain surrounding the Fall, and the 1 time he does).

Summary
When Aziraphale finds out that Crowley has only been passing him the easiest jobs to do as part of the Arrangement, he insists that Crowley lets him join in on a more difficult one. When the next hellish order involves tempting criminals to smuggle humans, angel and demon must find a way to subvert the instructions to fulfil the task without harming any innocents. Crowley and Aziraphale pose as fellow gangsters to infiltrate the mob and take things in a more wholesome direction. Expect lots of comedic bickering.
Crowley does have a few darker moments, but all in the name of saving the innocent. There's plenty of light relief to make up for the brief violent bits. There's no smut in this fic, sorry! They're a bit too busy saving people to fall into bed together this time. Have some light pining on a par with the show instead.

Summary
It’s hardly any secret that Hell is full of Sinners. Nor is it unexpected that the Radio Demon is not the only serial killer among its population.
But it does create something of a problem when Alastor’s business associates happen to be precisely the type of target for one such infamous Sinner. Alastor isn’t sure what irritates him more: a rival muscling into his territory, or Charlie’s reckless optimism that ruthless murderers can be saved.
At least one will certainly be the second death of him.
Set directly after Episode 5, “Dad Beat Dad”
