“Four years.” The Choir jumped at Jack’s voice, tight with anger yet surprisingly steady. “Four years we’ve been on this God-forsaken island. We hunt, we make offerings to The Beast, but what for? Not a damn thing has changed since the Blaze.”
He stood, and his painted face hovered above the fire like a dismembered apparition. “And it’s because of Ralph,” he continued, spitting out the former chief’s name like poison. “You’re all scared of him, of his stupid tribe of outgrown littluns. Don’t look shocked— I know you know he’s alive. But he won’t be for long.”
A ripple passed through the Choir. “Are you saying we’re gonna start up the hunt again?” Henry asked, leaning forward.
“We’ve gotta,” Jack replied. “Three years is enough of a break for that buffoon. He’s gonna remember fear. And he’s gonna remember who causes it."

Summary
He was informed it was a boarding school of sorts, a private institution for “special” teenagers. Ralph knew what this meant, of course, it was simply a school where parents could send their troubled, bothersome, children away to forget about them for a while. All sorts of people that Ralph did not want to come into contact with.
But only after a few hours of driving, he arrived.
The events of the Island traumatized Ralph Albeck beyond repair, after tiring of their mentally ill son, his parent's send him off to a boarding school. What will Ralph do when he finds familiar faces at his new school? And what will happen when he finds out he is sharing a room with one of them?
