“Yes.”
That stunned Wei Wuxian’s tongue into silence for a few moments. He moved closer still, until the outer edges of their clothes touched and he could feel on his own mouth the quick exhalations from Lan Wangji’s parted lips.
“And what will you do for me if I touch one of the puppies?”
Lan Wangji’s eyes held him riveted, as they so often did in these vitally important moments in Wei Wuxian’s life. “What would you like me to do?”
