For Sideswipe, finding out he has a brother was one thing. Finding out said brother is his split-spark twin was another. Finding out that said split-spark twin was forged before the War of the Threefold Spark while Sideswipe wasn’t due to stigmas against split-sparks, which left Sideswipe’s spark locked away for megacycles while Sunstreaker fought in a war…? Yeah, Sideswipe has some feelings about that and would like to share them with someone, thanks. Unfortunately, Sunstreaker doesn’t seem interested in getting to know his younger twin brother.
Or: Sideswipe meets Sunstreaker, the twin he never knew he had but who he should have been with their whole lives. It goes about as well as he expected and worse than he’d secretly hoped.

“Astrotrain wanted to enjoy Earth, but with the influx of more powerful soldiers to fight the Autobots, he often remained relegated to a transport vehicle. When he did get the chance to take to the skies it was often with a load of Energon or his colleagues. He longed for the early days of the war when he was the first to be sent into battle. He missed the rush of being shot at and the thrill of crushing his enemies beneath his heel. It was painful to realize his best days were behind him.
Since it was unbecoming of an officer of his rank to be ungrateful, Astrotrain kept his feelings to himself. He also didn’t want Skywarp to know how miserable he actually was. As he watched his beautiful friend soar across the blue skies, Astrotrain tried to live vicariously through him. It warmed Astrotrain’s spark to see Skywarp so happy.”
This is the backstory on how Astrotrain became the Decepticon’s greatest and most powerful Triple Changer. This story goes deeper into a character that has not been explored that much in the animated series. This follows the storyline from the 1984-87 series and also spans the movie.

You're not fond of people. You know the statistics and see the evidence of evil all around you in the world. So you move to the woods, where you've always felt the most at peace. It's perfect: a quaint little cabin just a short hike away from Crystal Lake, but far enough from the notorious campground that you shouldn’t be disturbed by whoever disregarded the local legends to party it up on the shores of that lake.
You have heard those legends yourself: a killer stalks these woods. The vengeful soul of a boy who had drowned and then came back as a man, or rather as an unstoppable force that kills all who dare step foot in his territory. Jason Voorhees, they call him, and he kills to avenge his Mother and the child that he’d been, choking and struggling at the bottom of that lake while the camp counselors in charge of his safety looked the other way.
