Summary
They say he sails in on the backs of storms, thunder crashing around him and his crew, the lightning would light up the night sky and flash against the sharp hook on his left wrist. Some said he’d lost his hand in a fight to the death with Blackbeard, losing the limb but taking the Kraken’s life. Or that he’d cut off his hand as a sacrifice to Poseidon, to control the waves and create the storms he needed to surprise his opponents. Others said he was the son of Blackbeard and his lover The Gentleman Pirate. The Storm Hawk had laughed long and loudly when he first heard that rumour, turning to the man with guarded eyes and a dagger in his one hand.
