Summary
A continuation of the Viktor "Midnight" Weisman saga and his adventures in Las Almas. This story follows the progression of Viktor's comfort in Las Almas, a date gone wrong, and Makarov extending his hand into business where it doesn't belong.
Viktor is getting used to the Las Almas base, and even more so with being Alejandro's partner. Everything turns on its head when Alejandro receives information that Makarov is in Las Almas, and Viktor reveals that he's had history with the Russian man. Angst ensues, but so too does a fight to survive as Viktor finds his life hanging in the balance. Will Alejandro save Viktor, or will Viktor have to save himself?

They’d been dancing around this… thing for forever now. Or at least, it had felt like forever. Gaz had discovered first hand that Ghost had a bit of a staring problem. However, when Gaz would return the gaze, Ghost would abashedly turn his head away, nonchalantly focusing on something else. And the funny thing was, Ghost was not slick– Gaz knew exactly what he was staring at.
Like when Gaz was doing squats in the gym. He’d turned around to grab his towel to wipe the sweat off his brow, and there Ghost was, paused in the middle of his own workout, staring down towards Gaz’s midsection. Gaz found it funny how quickly Ghost turned his gaze away. He also had to admit that he felt slightly flattered that Ghost would be one to look at him like that.

Ghost can't help but watch Gaz, and Gaz knows this. He's constantly playing into it, showing himself off for his lieutenant. During a training game of football, Ghost requests for Gaz, and Gaz curiously follows him. It seems Ghost's patience has run out and he's had enough of Gaz's teasing.

Gaz strode out of the lounge where Soap had run to and gave Ghost a warm smile. “He’s been stressing over asking you all week.” Gaz fondly rolled his eyes as he thought back to Soap practically pulling his hair out, figuring out how and when to ask the intimidating man if he would accompany them to the bars. “You basically just made his night. Thanks, Simon.”
A shiver ran down Ghost’s spine. Ever since revealing his face to the Ghost Team in Las Almas, he had allowed the task force to start calling him by his actual name. He had to admit, hearing Gaz say his name in such a warm and thankful tone made his stomach turn and his heart beat a little faster. Was he sick? Was he nervous?
Ghost didn’t get nervous.
