Chip was laying back in his hammock in the corner of the room, and Gillion sat on the floor in front of it with a sketchbook in his hands. “Oh! Hi Ollie,” Gill said and looked up at him, his tail propping up his book.
“Hey kiddo, what brings you here?” Chip sat up a bit, turning to look at him.
“I…had a question. It’s not about being a pirate, but I felt like you might know the answer.”
“Shoot kid, we’re all ears.” Chip fully sat up, leaning his foot on Gillion’s shoulder and propping his head against his hand.
“What makes a girl a girl?” Chip’s eyebrows furrowed, and he looked at him strangely for a moment, glancing at both Gillion and Jay who also looked a bit surprised at his question.

William steps into the Winnebago. Vyncent glances at him from the corner of his eye. He may be alive, but right now the bags under his eyes make him look dead again. He’s got all his weapons on him, the bloodied axe in a holster at his hip, the shotgun over his shoulder with rounds of ammunition along the strap, his chainsaw hooked to his duffel bag.
The blade of the axe and chainsaw are both bloody. So is the butt of the shotgun.
Vyncent doesn’t remember who or what William even hit with the shotgun.
It may be only halfway through the day, but he is fucking exhausted.

Halfway through Tide and Wavelength’s standard bi-weekly fight, some hotshot vigilante with a temper and super speed had cut in. Although preoccupied with trying to get civilians to safety, Tide could have sworn he saw Wavelength jump in the way of a blow that would've hit a young girl standing frozen on the sidewalk.
Then Mark gets injured, the vigilante reckless and overzealous.

10:15pm: The house goes quiet, and Tide goes to sleep with his door wide open.
10:20-10:30pm: Vyncent’s door unlatches, and a silent William Wisp enters.
Midnight: William says something under his breath, and leaves (Vyncent thinks William thinks he is asleep, but he hasn’t managed to quite catch what he’s saying).
6:50am: The alarm goes off; Vyncent wakes up alone. They don’t talk about it.Series
