"Schlatt tried to negotiate the terms of his surrender." Technoblade said, and Quackity had guessed as much. There weren't a lot of ways this war could've gone, no matter how much Schlatt deluded himself otherwise. As much as he seemed to think so, Quackity wasn't an idiot. Honestly the only thing that would be a surprise now was if they'd even bothered keeping Schlatt alive. "He offered you in return for some lenience."
Omegas were rare, but not so much that a deposed king would hesitate in trading it off for better odds of survival.

Rumi cackles. “How did it get this far anyway?”
How indeed.
Hawks glares at a point on the wall across from him and recalls just how everything spiraled so fantastically, horribly, wildly out of control.
