Summary
He saw right through her. She wasn't a normal demigod, not at all. No matter how hard she tried to be as normal as she could be, it would never work. With each monster she killed, she felt a piece of herself fading away. A piece of her humanity would turn to ashes with each stab, just like the monsters withering and dying. Annabeth was supposed to be a hero- the savior of Olympus, second only to Percy Jackson- but now her goodness was vanishing, her pride replacing it until she became just as evil as the forces she fought.

Adrien ignores the tease. (He ignores the little flutter her question stirs in his belly too.) Instead he gives Marinette his brightest, most encouraging smile. "You're amazing. The person you confess to is really lucky!"
"Lou’re yucky, too! I mean I’m lucky. No, you’re lucky! Ah! I mean I hope he thinks he’s lucky. I mean, do you really think he’s lucky?"
Adrien feels his smile soften as he waits patiently for Marinette to get out what she wants to say. It's no wonder she wanted to practice her confession. She struggles so much to get her words out sometimes. He can only imagine how much worse it is with her crush.
"Of course I do," he says warmly. "You should confess. I'm sure that boy will be really happy you did."
Marinette's face brightens and the sight combined with the happiness at being able to help, drives Adrien to continue, "You’re such a wonderful friend, Marinette. I’m sure all of your friends want to see you happy this way."

Summary
How much can you take before you simply fall apart?
Marinette is struggling. Her impulsiveness nearly destroyed Paris, She is still reeling from Chat Blanc, Lila is still on her at every turn, and she's suddenly become the guardian, even though she doesn't deserve it. (not to mention the fact that the Kwamis have been acting very strangely around her)
And, Hawk Moth now knows the identities of every single auxillary holder that SHE chose, and it's only a matter of time before he acts upon this new information.
She just... Is reaching her breaking point.
OR
Marinette and Adrien tangle with a powered-up Hawk Moth, their friends being put in danger, and their own mental states as they work to save Paris and each other.
Featuring the impact of Chat Blanc, Answers to questions, A delve into the Kwamis, A look at the mental states of the characters after everything they've gone through (which the writers seem to not want to give us) Fluff, Angst, and a very, VERY happy ending (I promise it's worth it :))
